Back by popular demand...  potluck lu’au at our Fourth Annual Ho’ike

Utensils and paper goods will be provided. The amount of food you bring should be determined by how many in your ohana (family) plan to eat.

Drinks and desserts will be sold for fundraising efforts. We ask all haumana (dancers) to bring a dessert with Polynesian flare for this table, individually wrapped, please.

Drinks will be water and Hawaiian Sun drinks. Alcohol is not permissible on the school site.

All who attend are encouraged to participate in the lu’au feast by bringing one of the following:

Last names beginning with:
A-M Main Dish: fresh pineapple, mango, papaya, fried rice, poi, tropical green salad, tropical fruit salad, tropical trail mix, veggies and tropical dip, be creative and have fun!!
N-Z Pupu (side dish): kahlua pig, teriyaki chicken, loco moco, teriyaki tofu, Hawaiian pizza, or something else with a Polynesian flare!

Email Trudi at hulanalu@sbcglobal.net with recipe requests or questions.

Ticket sales will go to Kehulili O Kailani and The Mark Doddridge Art Fund. It is our tradition, passed on from our Kumu Hula, Ginger Keahi Allen, to choose an arts fund to support. Since we will be at Park Dale Lane again this year, we are proud to support an art fund named for Mr. Doddridge, a teacher whose love of art has carried on even after his untimely passing.

Mahalo nui loa!
See you at Kehulili O Kailani’s 4th Annual Ho’ike!
